Film 15
Last updated: 25 January 2007
The Film 15 project provided an opportunity to showcase work by young film makers in Mid Wales and were shown at an awards night held at Machynlleth's Tabernacl in October 2006.
Simon Lea won the under 18 section for 'Wild West Wales' and 'Mr Whitlock's Son' by Leon Willis scooped second prize. 'Playing Soldiers Playing Cards' by Greg Marsh won the open section. 'Wild West Wales' went on to win first prize in the under 15's section at the Cinemagic Young People's Film Festival in Belfast in November 2006.

I have to say, I'm suprised Mr Whitlock's Son was pipped to the post. Great work Mr Willis

'The Layman's Guide' is fab - top work. It's just a shame that the soundtrack isn't there :( Still; insightful, wry, fun, witty...loved it!

I shot, directed, produced and edited "The Layman's Guide to Teenagers" and I am sad to see that it is without its specially-composed soundtrack (I wrote it myself, apart from the clip from 2001: A Space Odyssey).
