I am the Blues brother on the left! (the skinny one!) and the one on the right is my.... brother!! Dan who lives in Weston Super Mare. I Bog snorkel because it's about the only chance I get to compete in a World Championships and I think I look good in blue!
Hannah from Macclesfield
I did it with two of my friends - we had great fun and will be returning next year. An extra mention for Lindsay who I thought would never do it - Well done!
Fergie Gladstone from Cambridge
I entered the bog snorkelling with two friends and thought it was excellent fun! We met Julia Galvin from Ireland who is one of the funniest people I have ever met! We enjoyed chatting to her and competing. I was the best out of my two friends which makes me proud.

I was there! My husband entered for the first time and although was not successful this year has decided to take the plunge again next year. I have suspected for a while that he is completely mad but when I looked around on Monday he seemed quite normal. The weather didn't spoil a really fun day out. Our thanks to all the organisers.
Joanne Liddle from Sydney Australia
As an Aussie i love a good competition, following the cricket score i needed to settle the score bog snorkeling with my English companions Jon & Jimmy - managed to beat them by a whole minute - disgraceful! Bog snorkeling is CRAZY but utterly hilarious particularly when dressed in a pair of Y fronts & your mate as a nun.. why would we wait 5 hours in the mud and rain to particpate and my answer is WHY NOT!!
Lucas Evans from Llanwrtyd
I was at the Bog Snorkelling, shame about the weather but Band Dolafon were great, Julia was a good conductor and the French visitors were good percussion. Well done Sheelagh for being the local champion.
Tracey from Macclesfield
Absolutely crazy! Loved it, but shame about the weather. I have a caravan near Hay-on-Wye and this will now be a yearly event for us as spectators. Well done everyone, you brave lot.
