Bog Snorkelling 2008

The annual Bog Snorkelling World Championship takes place in Llanwrtyd Wells each August when two 60 yard trenches are cut through the peat bog and each swimmer is timed doing two lengths. The organisers at Green Events sent us these photos of the Championship in 2008:

We now have bog snorkelling in Australia...!! have been an enthusiastic supporter of Aus entries over there, but this year we had at least one UK (girl) entrant come over to try Aussie bogs!! Next the Olympics??
