Rotary Across Wales Walk

Last updated: 25 June 2008

The first Rotary Across Wales Walk took place in the mid-seventies by Bernard Wakeley, who was then Principal of Powys College, Newtown. In June 2008 John Evans sent us a few photos of the walk in 2008:

Completed the entire walk last year(2008) weather... awful, aching for days after but still would do it again as you receive a great feeling of satisfaction and self worth in completing the walk and also raised £500 for cancer research.

Thank you for the photos. I must say that the walk does not look anywhere as exciting as from my cwmtydu around the cliffs, then on to my old Church of St Tysilio. Llandysiliogogo. Ceredigion. But then, I could be biased? Pob bendith acoffion cynnes, Douglas .Ex Pendre, Llwyndafydd. 1942 to 1946.
