"The gallery renovation has kindly been enabled by The Bodfach Trust.

Amongst the exhibitors were Viki Govan and Richard Warner of Iron Vein in Welshpool who create bespoke metal work sculpture and furniture; awarding winning glass artist Angharad Whitfield from Brecon; local artist Symond Whittle, who works with Oil Painting and contempory sculptures and distinguished artist Rachel Montgomery who creates decorative panels using glass.

We would like to thank the whole team and all the volunteers as without their hard work and dedication the gallery opening would not have been possible.

The gallery was also open during the Christmas Market on Sunday 30 November where over 600 people visited the Workhouse, which was beautifully decorated for the festive season.

A programme of exhibitions and events will be taking place over the next 12 months and the gallery will also be available for hire for private exhibitions. In addition there is a retail space ready to rent adjacent to the gallery and any interested parties are encouraged to get in with the Llanfyllin Workhouse.

The opening timwes are Thursday to Sunday 10 - 4 up until 21 December."
