A truly beautiful place, my mother visited many times in the 20s and 30s, I actually got there in the 60s.If you have a history page the following may be of use. David Davies was the vet living at Vaedre and "uncle" Eddie and "aunt" Annie (Davies)were at Frongelli, our link? John Lloyd Jones, the uncle of Annie, I remember writing the Christmas cards for John's widow (he died in 1944) to Willie James and Delia Smith. Eric and Annie had three children, Mary, Eric and Alun. Eddie started his business in fruit selling with the £100 he got when he was discharged from the forces.

My father was born in Talgarreg and I believe my great grandfather lived in the Old Mill in Llandysul. Does it still exist and are there pictures of it?

We have a letter written in the early 1900's, and would like to know if 2, Marble Terrace still exists, as this is the address on the letter. The letter was written to a cousin, but only two pages still exist and so we have no signature.

Hi I have found out that my gggggg grandad Maurice Arthur came fron Llandysul in 1776. I was wondering if there are any Arthur's still in the town or if you have records in your church that I could come and see. I have never visited but am thinking of making a trip. Any help would be great. Thank you

Hey Mick. The beeches is ok and the people there are friendly and it is quite quiet. You should come and visit. I live in the Beeches and it's cool, everyone's kind and friendly and I've lived there all my life and I know everyone there and I know it like the back of my hand.

I used to live in Llandysul (Pontwely) in the 70s. Great fishing in the Teifi, Disco's in Tysul Hall (Menerva Mobile Music), also we played Snooker in the hall (Ray Reardon played there once), sat on Bradford Square with the Boys (you know who you are).

The home of my family,I visit Llandysul at least 3 times a year. The locals are very friendly and still have a good community spirit. Its a truly pretty village,"the only problem is that when I have had a pint in the high street,it is hard work to walk up the hill to the beeches estate".

We visit Llandysul every year without fail.It is so relaxing and peaceful.
In the 1970's my dad used to take us over the bridge to Thomas's farm.I was not sure if the bridge would take our weight, but it did.I also remember the school used to have a thermometer type marker on the side,to show how much restoration money had been raised.(Please correct me if I am wrong!)
