David Curtis, Weston-super-Mare
My grandfather, David Davies, and his father, Thomas Davies are buried in the churchyard of Capel y Groes, the Unitarian Church in Llanwnnen. In 1969 I took a photo of the headstone, but it turned out so dark that I cannot make out the dates. As I am 82 and writing my life-story, I would like to know those dates, and should be very grateful if someone who lives nearby would kindly find out for me.

Teiji Itoi, Kyoto Japan
During WWII, Mr.Frank Evans who was born and raised in Llanwnen was forced to work in our town as a POW. He hated Japan and Japan's military brutality, for which I sincerely feel sorry for him and his comrads and I would like to ask for your forgiveness. After 40 years he returned to our town and he built a memorial for the dead with a support from the local community in Japan. I am translating his book "Roll Call at Oeyama" (only 45 pages so far out of 160!!). I need to know much of the places where he was brought up. Your children's drawings are of a great help to learn about the birthplace of Mr. Evans. He mentions " post office stores".Are there some stores in the post office itself? I am curious about so many things.Hope some of you can solve my problems!!
