My mother, sisters and I visited this beautiful church in November 2007 with a particular mission in mind. My mother's parents were buried in Llanwenog churchyard in 1939 when she was only 12 years old, and we were there to visit the graves. The church itself is a sight to behold, sitting on the side of the hill with breath-taking views all around it! The interior is a joy and particlarly the carved woodwork is stunning. Don't forget the amazing stone font and the fabulous 13th century tower. Surrounded by silent, awesome countryside and we found the perfect resting place for our maternal granparents.
