Aberporth has been our favourite holiday spot for over forty years. Our 5 children and our 12 grandchildren have all enjoyed our annual get-together on the beaches there. In 2008 it was my 70th birthday and the whole family decided to meet there at mid day for a beach BBQ. Just when everyone had settled with beach chairs, beach toys, and BBQ at the ready we had a 'monsoon' type rainfall! Well, it was certainly an experience!! I had never been allowed to stay out in such rain! I look forward eagerly to my 71st on the beach in Aberporth.

I think this photograph was taken from "our seat". My husband and I did our courting sat on this wooden bench and it brings back very happy memories. We always go to "our seat" as soon as we arrive on one of our all too infrequent holidays in Aberporth. Diolch Aberporth.
