Caldicot castle is reputed to be haunted by a number of ghosts and spirits including a grey lady, hooded monks and a vagabound boy. At the centre of the activity is The Gatehouse Banqueting Hall, shadowy figures as well as moving furniture has been witnessed in this area. Many people have experienced unusual cold spots as well as footsteps in vacant parts of the castle, it is important to rememeber that the castle had been used for various abodes and any ghostly activity would respresent all of them, so we are just as likely to sees a Victorian maid as a 70's residence

Caldicot castle is haunted apparently and when you go in one tower a ghost pushes you back down and there's a ghost called the blue lady that stands on the highest tower there at mid night

that happened to my on witches mountain i got dragged to the top and my car was on handbreake and it was off when i got dragged up n i rolled back down

i remember as a child hearing a story about the so-called ghost of nanteos (a big mansion just outside aber). also that the holy grail used to be kept there. anyone else heard similar stories about the place?

witches mountain.The mountain is on a road going to abergavenny(y fenni).If you go up it in a car and stop the car half way up,your car will be mysteriously dragged up the rest of the way!
