Healthy Eating

Last updated: 24 November 2005

A group of young people from Knighton pass on a few of the healthy eating tips they picked up during a six-week cookery course held in March 2004.

Organised by Powys Youth Services and Powys Food Links, the course was led by local chef Suzanne Davies. She's also written an article about the project.

Faye: "Get exercising. Learn how to cook instead of going out for a takeaway or having snacks like crisps, chocolate, currys, chips etc. If you don't have a lot of money, this course showed me how to make a full course meal for five pounds."
