After living near London from 2005 though 2008, we visited Hay-on-Wye at least twice each year. We loved the many bookshops and the helpful people who worked in them. We plan to return in the future even though the trip will be a bit longer to get there. Enjoyed the photos. Many fond memories!!!

Together withg my special friends (we were from Mountain Ash in the Aberdare Valley), I camped each year very near Hay-on-Wye. Your photographs are excellent.I have in my possession a small b/w photograph of a Governess Cart (the 'donkey' waiting patiently) outside a shop in Hay. If it is of use or interest to you I will gladly send it.

Great pics.I was born in one of the houses in picture 2 and my Dad knew Armstrong (pic 3), - he sometimes chatted to him when Dad was going to school and Armstrong to work.Lovely to see Hay on the Net.
