Baking Bread

On 21 October 2004 a group of pupils from Aberhafesp School visited Talerddig Bakery to get an insight into the work of a baker. They were given a guided tour of the bakery by its proprietor Alan Thomas, who's been a baker for over 40 years. The school sent us this report about the visit.

My maiden name was Griffith - both of my parents families were from Wales. I would love to have the bread recipes.

I have been looking for Welsh Recipes, as my Grandparents Samuel and Jane Morgan came from around Glamorgan Wales, and sailed to the USA in 1894. I am 76years old, and I can still smell my Grandmothers bread she baked. I would love to have the Welsh recipe for their Bread, as it was so yeasty and good.Thank You and Nos Da.
