Brecon Food Festival 2006

Last updated: 17 October 2006

The Brecon Beacons Food Festival attracted an estimated 12,000 to the market town in October 2006. Brecon Market was the centre of the action, with nearly 60 stalls jammed into the hall. With more stalls strategically placed at Bethel Square and Monument Square, the total number of exhibitors was up from last year's 60 to well over 80. Click through the slideshow of photos of this year's festival sent in by Andrew Powell who organised the event for Brecon Beacons National Park Authority.

Dozens of stallholders were kept busy throughout the day selling local produce ranging from homemade jams, pickles to real ale, whiskey and goats' cheese.
