This year's seafood festival is , I believe, on July 12th. Yes there is always a good atmosphere at the festival due to both the activities and the fact that the "cardis", the locals, are a real friendly bunch. Aberaeron is well worth a visit as is the whole area to be honest. Give it a go - I don't think you will be disappointed
