Wednesday is a busy day at the Eisteddfod. the competing starts first thing in the morning and carries on until almost midnight.

The main ceremony in the pavilion was the awarding of the Prose Medal which was won by Cefin Roberts, Glanaethwy.

The winner of the Learner of the Year competition was announced at a special evening ceremony in Welshpool. You can read more about this year's winner - Mike Hughes from Carno in Powys - by clicking here.
