Shân Legge-Bourke, Lord Lieutenant of Powys and a lady-in-waiting to Princess Anne is the owner of the beautiful Glanusk estate near Crickhowell. We were in Crickhowell last summer and Lady Glan Usk drove us to visit the sight of my friends Griffiths family She knew Ivor Griffiths, his uncle, who had died. I would like more history of the Griffiths family of Crickhowell.

We watched the programme with interest. Today we are in Uruguay visiting a group of churches which we support - The founder of these churches was a lady called Marjory Lancaster (married name) born in 1910, who was the daughter of the Glan Usk family. She dedicatd her life to serve the poor people of Uruguay and died here in 1995 - we visited her grave today. The people loved her and revere her memory.

What a Wonderfull Lady. Such highclass, yet so down to earth. Crickhowell should count itself so lucky to have such a caring,and sincere person amongst them. For far from being aloof, she makes herself available to all. What a Wonderful Lady.
