Alistair Jones sent us these photographs of his father in Caersws in the early twentieth century:
Alistair: "My father, Frank Jones was born in Caersws in 1910 and played for the Caersws Juniors, later Llanidloes and finally Internationally for Wales in 1933.
He lived at Severn Villa I believe: with brothers Harvey, Maurice and Wynn, sister Mary and father Harvey and mother Sarah-Jane. Frank joined the army and was seconded as ADC to Baron Davies in the 1930's during the League of Nations crises.
I knew one or two people on these pictures, any took at least one myself but would love to have any names, places and memories relating the rest, and if they mean anything to anyone I would be happy to e-mail better copies. I have more, including a few relating to Plasdinam where my father met my mother. Who was PD for instance?"

I remember Mr Chapman and that photo was taken outside his house which was between Rofach farm and Severn Villa.I also remember his daughter too.

Clive Seager, Caersws.
Having lived in our house for 20 years we had no idea that a Welsh international footballer had lived two doors along. Interesting article and photos, thank you.
