Roy's show will be an entertaining and thoughtful look at what life was like for people during World War Two, coinciding with the new Coalhouse series on BBC Wales which is set in the 1940s.
His guests will include BBC Wales' String of Pearls presenter Dewi Griffiths and all round entertainer and Welsh show biz legend Stan Stennett.
Both will be talking about the world of wartime entertainment , here in Wales and father afield.
As a young soldier Stan Stennet travelled overseas to entertain troops, as a member of Stars In Battledress, which included performers such as Spike Milligan and Harry Secombe.
Dewi Griffiths has a wealth of knowledge about the film and musical stars who people loved to listen to on radio and watch on the silver screen.
Other guests joning Roy include Beryl Rivers who lives in Gilwern and who was a GI Bride and Martin Everet, the Curator of the South Wales Borderers Museum in the town.
People are very welcome to join Roy at the theatre for the afternoon and share their memories and family stories about this era . Entry is free and hopefully a good time will be had be all.
