I believe this is Ponsticill reservoir.When I was in my teens I used to help an old shepherd called Jim Eccley,he was a lovely old character who lived with his dogs in the signal box by the railway line just behind where this photograph was taken.He was in his 60's then,but walked the mountain every day in all weathers,he was as fit as a fiddle.He didn't smoke but he did chew twist tobacco and would leave dirty brown stains when he spat.Good memories,happy days.
