Burma Star's Last Post

In August 2008 the Swansea and District Branch of the Burma Star Association held a final act of remembrance in Brecon following the Cathedral Eucharist. This poignant occasion marked a sad to end to the many years of the Association's links with Brecon. Take a look at a slideshow of the day's events by Michael Gittins:

    I now live in USA.My father Harry Oppenheimer was in the Burma Intelegence Corp from 1942-47 was based in Mhow India.He was a Major and was awared the OBE.,ED.Naturally also the Burma Star.He died in Rangoon in 1973.
