  • What is your name?: Stan Jankowski

  • Where do you work?: Llanwddyn

  • How did you get started as an artist?: I didn't set out to be an artist it has evolved that way and I hope it continues, who knows what's next?

  • How would you describe your work?
    Varied - from a bride's tiara to a weathervane, a fountain in the garden to a sculpture at Lake Vyrnwy. I just like the variety and challenges each commission brings.

  • Do you draw inspiration from your local area?: I Find the beauty of Wales and community, especially where I live gives me the frame of mind to be inspired.

  • Where has your work been shown?: Ludlow Festival, Loseley park, Lake Vyrnwy.

  • Do you have any exhibitions coming up?: I hope to have some work shown next year.

  • Any thing else we should know?: I think its great to have this site for the community and wish I had known about it before. Thank you.

    As Stan is my son in law I have been familiar with his work for a long time and always knew he would be appreciated someday. Some of the things he produces really baffle you as to how he makes them. It's all beyond me. Well done Stan.
