Harvesting. . . .
"A wise man once said "If you come to Nozstock, youll be back for more. . . . probably with your nan, your kids, and your best mates in tow. . . ." Our guests say that we achieve a perfect balance. Weve got it all.
We've got location and we've got the best entertainment. We've got something for everyone and are committed to bringing Shire wonderment to a wider audience as well as bringing in new and exciting flavours, beats and treats from lands afar back to the local community.
We're good value for money and our small size means easy access to all facilities and events, whatever the weather - accommodating everyone with no exceptions.
There's a good feeling down on the farm. Many of the organisers and stewards have known each other for years so theres a real community feel which rubs off on the festival goers.
And its the steady publicity of word of mouth that continues to grow the crowds year on year. Anyone who's ever been just wants to share the experience with someone else. And the result is a festival which is just about everything a festival should be.
Nozstock has been successful from the start and never being ones to sit back and relax, we're committed to improving on what we've got. We do have plans for the future, but naturally these ideas require more funding than we've got.
We're keen to attract support from funders and benefactors and local businesses and while you can offer us a helping hand (however big or small), we can guarantee an ever increasing audience, UK wide advertising and more media attention anticipated year on year.
Do you publish to the masses, have the opportunity to support up and coming arts events, provide quality food or drink, or powerful AV equipment that can stand up to the test of serious sounds? If you're an
organisation or an individual that can offer something to Nozstock and in return can benefit from Nozstocks community philosophy, then get in touch. Were keen to get involved in any mutually beneficial partnerships that can spread the word far and wide.
Pick of the crop for 2008. . . .
At the heart of the festival site is the ORCHARD STAGE presenting a brilliant mix of bands from all over the world picking up the pace with rock, indie, ska, hip hop, rocking tunes and winding riffs.

The GARDEN STAGE hosts an eclectic brew of bands providing alternative sounds spanning all genres from throbbing dance, funk, and hip hop, to blues, rock and acoustic musings.
The BANDSTAND located on the hillside leading down to the Dingle presents chilled out, acoustic, mystifying music with an open-mic session for the brave and talented.
Pulsing with whompin' basslines through the night to the wee hours of the morn, The CUBICLES is a converted cowshed housing both experimental electronica and bangin drum 'n' bass.
The BULLPEN serves as a cocoon to the dance world as the walls shake with the reverberations of the hardest trance and house we can offer.
Brand new to Nozstock 2008, the PSYTRANCE AREA is sister to the established dance arenas, and provides deep and dirty tribal shenanigans.
The DINGLE comprises film, fun and frivolity for all ages with a THEATRE/COMEDY tent, late night JAZZ, a CINETENT packed with short films and a KID'S AREA with games and workshops.

Super festival.Rates among one of my best weekends ever. The Massive laser thing on Friday night looked amazing near the sign clipping the tops of the trees and sending huge beams above the campsite!Band of the weekend definately the Utah saints, the crowd was a heaving mass of writhing bodies and the lightshow was to die for!!!I'll definately be back next year with more friends.

Daniel Spiller
Hello there! I'm a self managed artist and band from London just confirmed for the Nozstock festival on the 18th of July 2008. We're a new act, having achieved great results independently. Daniel Spiller And The Broken Record Project will be traveling up the day before and are available for interview and live performance on a suitable show.. previously we have performed BBC radio London, BBC radio Humberside and Capital FM. We've got a lot going on and make for very entertaining radio programming. Please feel free to forward this to the most appropriate person.. and for more information check our myspace page.
