How did you get started as an artist?: I completed my A'levels, continued onto a foundation course at Carmarthen Art college and then a HDN in Natural History Illustration. Once I had completed my 2 year course, I started up my own successful business in Pet Portraits.
How would you describe your work? I paint portraits of animals - mainly dogs and cats for clients worldwide.
Do you draw inspiration from your local area?: I love the peace and quiet of my area, it allows me to be fully concentrated on my paintings with no distractions.
Where has your work been shown?: I have had a joint exhibition in the Mall Gallery London, I had one of my pieces exhibited at Crufts and I currently have over 300 paintings and drawings displayed on my website.
Any thing else we should know?: I run a pet portrait forum which has a wonderful friendly community of pet portrait artists. I believe it's the only specialized forum of its kind on the web.
