- How did you get started as an artist? I purchased a fused glass bowl four years ago. I loved it so much I decided to learn more about the process so booked a fused glass course in London. I loved the creative process so much I went every month for about 18 months. The owner of the studio said he couldn't teach me any more so he let me hire his kiln monthly and I provided my own glass. I was giving everything that I made away. People liked it so much they then started commission pieces to give as presents.
