"On the night of 8th/9th July 1885, a fire broke out in one of the chemistry laboratories in the college building. Locals came to see if they could help, rescuing books from the library and artefacts from the museum."

Michael Belham from Frome
In 1887 my great grandfather's company - S. Belham & Co. was given the contract to rebuild the College after the fire.

My great great grandfather was one of the three men who died in the fire. His name was Samuel Morgan Jones.
