I originally met Bill when he came to Australia in the mid 1990's to judge Dexters at the Sydney Royal. We became very good friends and over the years shared many laughs and good times. Bill came with me when I took some 30 secondary school kids to Central Australia on a camping trip, .. if only the kids knew what we were laughing about they'd be horrified! Together, Bill & I shared a similar weird sense of humour and fed off each others' comments. I will forever remember Bill as my friend, my mentor and my inspiration. Bill was an amazing man & in so many ways larger than life. May our memories of Bill be forever with us!

I first met Bill while working in a local music store around 20 years ago. His love of music was evident from the start and we became friends. Bill was a very genuine, honest person, I would say this was probably his greatest quality. Bill was a very talented and creative man, the puppets he carved himself are fantastic and I highly recommend a trip to the museum in Aberystwyth to view them if you haven't already. I'm so pleased I knew Bill, he was a very true friend, who taught me a great deal.

I am proud to say I knew Bill and he was a very kind and thoughtful person as well as being very intelligent and a great laugh. He always spoke his mind and had something interesting to say. Bill was a unique person and hugely talented. He'll be sadly missed by many.
