2008 Celtic Challenge Photos

These photos of the 2008 Celtic Challenge which took place between 3 and 4 May were taken by one of the organisers David Jenkins from Aberystwyth. Due to choppy conditions only six of the 12 teams taking part finished the 90 mile race. The winners were the Arklow men's team in 17 hours 37 minutes an 5 seconds. The Aber men's team finished second, 80 seconds later:

I think u all are so brave because no one really likes water that much because of the deepness but you all went ahead at it well done so much xox

Photos were taken of all but one boat that finished the arduous race, Lllanion Warriors, very dissapointing not to see their pic considering the few that finished the race as a whole!
