As part of Biodiversity Week 2006, a total of 30 children between the ages of 7 and 11 took part in a model-making competition.
The children were asked to choose a biodiversity species which can be found in a wet habitat around Wales and to source interesting facts about the animal of their choice.
The models were on display at Aberystwyth Show on Saturday 10 June 2006.
