Medal winners at teh ceremony

Last updated: 16 July 2008

The first Santilli-Galilei gold medal ceremony was held in the Patti Private Theatre at Craig y Nos Castle, Abercraf in July 2008.The conference was attended by distinguished scientists from all over the world, hosted and funded by Prof. Francesco Fucilla on behalf of the Santilli Galilei Association. Here, Prof Myron Evans tells us more about the event:

  • More about Myron Evans' family history...

  • "The Santilli Galilei Association is a significant development in modern physics, and was founded to remove the obscure aspects of twentieth century theories from natural philosophy, to improve physics by making it clearer and simpler to understand, and to develop new technologies based on that understanding.

The prize money equivalent totalled over a million dollars, and two hand crafted, solid gold medals were awarded to each recipient. This is due to the great generosity of Prof. Francesco Fucilla.

A DVD of the event has been prepared, and the conference will be followed by the production of new films, one of which, on AIAS and ECE theory, will be made partially in the Castle.

Myron Evans The event was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Brecon, representing Powys, and a Canon of Brecon Cathedral, representing the Bishop of Brecon and the Havard family.

Speakers emphazised the urgent need to remove dogma from modern physics, to make it accessible to engineers in order to develop urgently needed sources of fuel based on the Einstein Cartan Evans (ECE) field theory, the only theory capable of unifying physics in terms of relativity.

Distinguished scholars were particularly critical of the obsolete and muddy nature of the standard contemporary physics, and particularly critical of unprovable concepts such as string theory, black holes which do not exist, of fundamental errors in the Einsteinian view of relativity, and of the non-existent big bang.

Gold medalsThese are all standard theories which have been shown by the Santilli Galilei Association and by the Alpha Institute for Advanced Studies (AIAS) to be riddled with basic errors and self-inconsistencies

Even worse, in conference resolution, is the way in which a small faction of obsolete standard physicists try to cover up these errors and try to block progress made by able, free thinking, scientists.

The conference accepted ECE theory as the only theory that is able to provide a unified view of physics based on the philosophy of relativity in the four dimensions of spacetime. The standard physics has failed dismally to do this.

A heap of old and complacent men idolises itself. It is just ridiculous.

I would like to point out that there is a difference between theories that do not support observed data but are mathematically correct, and those that are mathematically inconsistent from the start.Upon close, rigorous inspection, one will find the work of Prof. M. Evans to fall into the latter category, at a frighteningly basic level.

Events like these not only promote the innovativeness but also give due credit to those who like to challenge the conevntional and dare into the territory where others fear to tread because of the veil of traditional approach. We must not forget that many modern theories and scientific principles have been accredited as farce and hoax and even ridiculed at.However time has unfolded not only their vailidity but also shunned the very ideologies against which they were compared. So let us not debate here as to what is farce and what is concrete.Let's give due space to the spirit of science so and let the new and unconventional ideas flourish.I think it is great of BBC to have covered this event.

It is really appalling that the BBC takes notice of an event of this nature. The previous comment has said it perfectly clear, this is just a joke. Delirious weirdos awarding themselves medals and honours. So many scientific news could be featured and you waste time and space with this!!! Pathetic.

You have been taken for a ride by this pseudoscientific organisation. It is true that the members are highly qualified by lay standards. Nevertheless, they do not follow the norms of conventional academic conduct, they set up bogus universities and award each other professorships. You do a disservice to genuine researchers by your uncritical coverage of this farce.
