The majority of these photos are of regular soldiers...just normal blokes like me or you, in a country they did not ask to go to. They're doing a hard job, and like it or not they are making the world safer place. You should be proud of these people...

I have have spent half of my life in war zones both as a fighter and as a victim. Born in Liberia, i was a child soldier until i escaped to sierra leone where i became a child soildier again and after escaping over four times i ended up fighting for all the factions that fought in the war in Sierra Leone. Looking back today I feel man is the worst creature God created. I have tried as hard as I can I can't let go of my past. I always have nightmares about the jungles of Sierra Leone and Liberia. War is crazy.

The most propagandistic pro war photos that I have seen for a long time. Where are the photos of the Iraqis bullied by the British soldiers, those shot at because they resent being stopped by foreign troops at check points etc? Where are the pictures of the Lebanese civilians slaughtered by the Israeli air force. You are giving time to an embedded photographer who has not captured the real images of war - brutalisation and death.
