Gareth was first selected to play darts for Wales in 2007, competing in the home internationals where Wales narrowly missed out by 1 set to England on becoming champions for the first time. Scotland being the 3rd team in the competition.
Gareth then represented Wales in Ennis, Ireland where Wales were this time victories winning the inaugural Celtic Cup, with victories over both ireland and Northern Ireland.
In February 2008, Gareth represented Wales in the 6 man squad and helped Wales win the six nations, (England, Netherlands, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales).
Gareth has again been selected the Welsh squad for the 2008 season, playing the Home Internationals in Scotland.
Gareth plays in the British Inter-Counties for Montgomery and Radnor Darts Organisation.
