The exercises which give you three phrases as prompts and then challenge you to make a question sentence from them are especially useful.

University of Glamorgan has removed the password protection from some of its Welsh course materials. There's some fantastic courseware on this site. If you're a complete beginner, click on 'Dyfal Donc' and try some exercises ; if you already have some Welsh, go for the 'Catchphrase' link; there are also more advanced modules about Welsh in the Workplace. There's a 700-word lexicon and a chatroom that's open every Tuesday evening. There's an Ask the Teacher service which is for University of Glamorgan students only and an events calendar and details of Welsh courses at the university. A beginners' Welsh course. This company 's based in Brecon, south Wales and there are audio clips of some individual words. There's also a basic talking dictionary on the site. If you browse around you'll also find recipes, photos of Wales and some myths and legends.

Offers Acen's online Welsh course for absolute beginners. There don't appear to be any free taster lessons available on this site and the course costs up to £190 per year.
