Where do you come from?
I'm from Port Talbot originally but now I live in London.
Why do you want to learn Welsh?
Because it's part of my background and my culture. I want to see whether I can do it and how much I've already absorbed just from being in Wales.
Does anyone else in your family speak Welsh?
No - not at all. But my mother's father was from Blaengwrach near Glynneath and he was a Welsh speaker, but he stopped speaking Welsh when he moved to Swansea as a child and was bullied for being different.
What's your favourite word in Welsh?
What's your favourite place in Wales?
Mumbles. I love the sweep of the bay and Oystermouth Castle. We used to have picnics in the grounds when I was a girl.
What are your hobbies?
I like walking, doing Sudoku puzzles, socialising and playing silly games on the computer.
