Mature students

Mature students constitute the fastest growing group within higher and further education - education is more accessible than ever for all.

A mature student is classed as anyone over the age of 21, but there is no upper age limit - the oldest graduate last year was 86!

There can be a plethora of worries, barriers and perceived problems in returning to education, but mature students can find they have much more to offer than a young school leaver. They can apply their working and life experience to education enriching their knowledge and forming a fresh perspective.
