Snorkel, mask and fins
The very basic equipment required for snorkelling on the water’s
surface.

Wet suit, dry suit, gloves, boots, fins, watch, dive computer,
mask, snorkel, filled cylinder x 2, demand valve, depth gauge,
tank pressure gauge, aBLJ jacket, weigh belt, knife, trunks/costume,

3.
Decompression computer
It’s ok, you don’t need to take a waterproof desktop. These days
these ‘bends-avoidance’ devices are so small you can wear them
on your wrist like a watch.
4.
Diver medical fitness certificate
In accordance with the government’s Health & Safety Executive
requirements, professional divers must undertake a medical examination
carried out by an approved examiner every twelve months. See Links

5.
a boat
Either your own, or one you’ve hired – it’ll probably be too far
to swim otherwise.
