A helicopter!
If you’re employed by the armed forces, they’ll provide you with one. If you’re working as a civil pilot, you’ll have to buy or lease one, and they don’t come cheap!

Somewhere to fly it from
Again, no problem if you’re with the M.O.D. For civil pilots, there’s no law to stop you flying out of your own back garden, but talk to the neighbours first!

Fuel and oil
Sorted with the M.O.D. Not something you can pop down your local garage for otherwise.

Annual maintenance
Maintenance labour, engine overhaul and airframe overhaul.

Money
Bags and bags of it. Unless of course you’re in the forces, in which case you’ll receive bags and bags of it (well almost).
