Sport is one of the largest departments within BBC Wales, providing a wide range of programming for television, including S4C, and radio in English and Welsh.

About the placement

A placement with BBC Wales Sport can include the following :

• Spending time with staff who provide hourly bulletins for Radio Wales and Radio Cymru
• Joining television production teams on programmes such as Scrum V and Scrum V Live
• Working with finance and production staff on all aspects of the Department's activities

Criteria

Age : due to Health & Safety considerations, you will need to be aged 18 or over to apply for this placement.

We're looking for applicants who are interested in sport! We're a happy bunch, usually, so if your interpersonal and communication skills are good, then we'll get on just fine. You'll need to be highly motivated, creative, and full of ideas, equally happy to work in a team or on your own, and enthusiastic. We often work long hours, though, particularly at weekends....
