Work experience

Work experience placements are available in virtually every area of the BBC across Wales.

How do I get work experience?

Work experience placements are not just for school children, so however old you are and whatever aspect of our work you're interested in, the chances are we'll have something that's right for you.

All placements are unpaid and can last anything from a few days to four weeks. Competition is fierce, so before you apply you need to consider what you can offer and what you want to achieve.

Are you good with computers? Have you worked in hospital radio? Written articles for your local or college magazine? What do you hope to gain from the placement? And what are your ambitions for the future?

Placements are currently available in the following departments :

There may be additional posts available which require the ability to speak Welsh. These will be listed on the Welsh version of this page on : bbc.co.uk/cymru/profiadgwaith.
