I have responsibility for English language multiplatform arts commissioning and output on BBC Wales; my role is strategically to link BBC Wales' content on television, radio, online and performance event.

On television I am directly responsible for the ON SHOW arts and popular culture strand that is serviced by independent sector production companies.

The Independent Sector has an important role in delivering imaginative, innovative and appealing content of excellence. This is vital in the mix of BBC Wales' television programming.

In addition to the current regular rounds of commissioning for the Arts Strand ON SHOW, I welcome ideas and treatments that are current, are 'of the moment' and opportune. What I am looking for is great and appealing content that attracts an audience, punches above its weight in the schedule, and is talked about!
