WCAF - what we do

The BBC Cymru Wales Charities Advisory Forum (WCAF) is an advisory board to the BBC Cymru Wales Board of Management and to the Trustees of BBC Children in Need. It has two distinct responsibilities :

Charity Broadcasts

WCAF provides advice on policy and BBC Cymru Wales charity broadcasts. It also advises on BBC-wide fundraising projects as they affect Wales.

BBC Children in Need

WCAF advises the Trustees of BBC Children in Need on the implementation of policy and procedures, particularly on matters as they affect Wales. It also makes recommendations to the Trustees on the distribution of grants in Wales and advises BBC Cymru Wales on aspects of the annual BBC Children in Need Appeal and programme.
