A History of the World is an innovative new project across BBC radio, television and online. The website features objects not just from the British Museum but from museums right across the UK. Explore the site and you can even add your own objects to the online collection. You can also look at some of the highlights of the Welsh objects below or visit our local sites to fully explore the local collections.
During 2010, museums and audiences from across your area added objects to A History of the World and built a collection of thousands of objects that told history.
All the programmes, objects and content will remain on the site - find out more.
