Pontscysyllte Aqueduct

Rivers of Wales: The Dee, first broadcast 15 March 2001

Sara Edwards' journey down the River Dee takes her to the impressive Pontscysyllte Aqueduct near Llangollen, which was built by Thomas Telford and William Jessop. Completed in 1805, it crosses the Dee Valley and links the villages of Trevor and Froncysyllte.
