Joining the Eisteddfod Flickr group is the best way to showcase your photographs of the festival, browse other people's pics and become part of a photo-sharing community.

Terms and conditions for the BBC Eisteddfod Flickr group

  • When submitting an image please make sure you are the copyright holder. Usually this means you took the image yourself.
  • Please do not send: professional photos, including school photographs, images from books, postcards or photos you have found on the internet; photos featuring artwork or a prominent logo; photos featuring children aged under 16, unless you can show you have parental consent.
  • By sharing your photo with BBC Eisteddfod on Flickr you agree to grant to the BBC, free of charge, permission to use your photo (including modifying and adapting it for operational and editorial reasons) on bbc.co.uk, and BBC Cymru Wales.
  • Copyright in your photo will remain with you and this permission is not exclusive, so you can continue to use it in any way including allowing others to use it.
  • To enable the BBC to use your photo, you confirm that it is your own original work, is not defamatory and does not infringe any UK law and/or anyone's copyright, that you have the right to give the BBC permission to use it for the purposes specified above, and that you have the consent of anyone who is identifiable in your photo.
  • The BBC reserves the right to not accept your photo for any reason at our discretion including the ability to remove it from the BBC Eisteddfod group on Flickr if it breaches any of the terms above.
  • The BBC may need to contact you for administrative or verification purposes and will contact you in accordance with the BBC's Privacy Policy.
  • If you do not want to grant the BBC the permission set out above on these terms, please do not share your photo with the BBC Eisteddfod group on Flickr.
  • Don't endanger yourself or others, take any unnecessary risks or break any laws when taking your photos.
  • Please note that the BBC is not responsible for the content of any external websites and/or any personal data you submit to external websites, including Flickr. Any use of Flickr will be subject to its terms of use. Please refer to Flickr's terms of use and privacy policy before submitting any content to the BBC Eisteddfod group on Flickr. To the extent that there is a conflict with these terms, the above terms will only apply to the BBC's use of your photo for the purposes set out above.
  • We cannot guarantee that all material will be used and we reserve the right to edit your comments.
