The Eisteddfod Fringe
Dance and rock music events abound in the Eisteddfod fringe
Gigs
'Gigs' is the local term for rock and pop events; they'll be held at various local venues. The main gigs will take place at
Maes B - the youth camping village, not too far from the Eisteddfod field. Maes B is the only venue where gigs are partly organised by the Eisteddfod itself.

Poetry
Various poetry events are held throughout the Eisteddfod week. Y Babell Len is the tent to head for on the Maes. Off-site, check out Stomp yr Eisteddfod - the very popular Welsh poetry slam. Details available at www.academy.org.

Drama
Plays are held throughout the Eisteddfod week. These include performances by local and national drama companies and an especially commissioned drama for the Eisteddfod. On-site you can watch drama in Theatr y Maes; the town will be plastered with fly posters advertising performances at local venues.
