5.4 - Ymateb i 'Ble?' - Answering to 'Ble?'

As you know by now, you can reply simply;

Ble mae Gareth yn byw? - Ym Mhorthmadog!
- Where does Gareth live - In Porthmadog!

Ble mae e(o)'n gweithio? - Yng Nghricieth!
- Where does he work? - In Cricieth!

The full replies would be:

Mae Gareth yn byw ym Mhorthmadog.
- Gareth is living (lives) in Porthmadog.

Mae e(o)'n gweithio yng Nghricieth.
- He is working (works) in Cricieth.

Change the name Gareth to Gwen and the pattern is just the same.

Ble mae Gwen yn gweithio? - (Mae Gwen yn gweithio) yn BHS.
- Where does Gwen work? - (Gwen works) in BHS.

Ble mae hi'n chwarae golff? - (Mae hi'n chwarae golff) yn Llanelli.
- Where does she play golf? - (She plays golf) in Llanelli.
