15.6 - Gofyn am ddigwyddiadau - Asking about events

Naturally, we can ask 'time' questions about events or about going somewhere

Am faint o'r gloch mae cinio? - At what time is lunch?
(Mae cinio) am chwarter i ddau. - (Lunch is) at a quarter to two.

Am faint o'r gloch rydych chi'n mynd i'r gwaith? - At what time do you go to work?
('Dw i'n mynd i'r gwaith) am chwarter wedi wyth. - (I go to work) at a quarter past eight.
Am faint o'r gloch mae Mary'n dod o'r gwaith? - At what time does Mary come from work?
(Mae hi'n dod o'r gwaith) am chwech o'r gloch. - (She comes from work) at six o 'clock.

Am faint o'r gloch mae'n nhw'n mynd i'r gêm? - At what time are they going to the game?
(Maen nhw'n mynd i'r gêm) am hanner awr wedi un. - (They're going to the game) at half past one.
