I have just watched the 2005 finals and must compliment everyone taking part. I agree the decision was difficult for the panel but I must comment on the voice of Luis. I have at 57 years of age enjoyed and delighted in the many classic tenors, Caruso, Bjorling, Gigli, Pavorotti etc etc and the voice I have heard tonight is as wonderful!! He truly is a great tenor with the power to conquer the operatic world. His voice was a pleasure..a true great.
