Tsvetana Bandalovska lives in Sofia, Bulgaria. She studied at the Pancho Vladigerov State Academy of Music, Sofia, graduating with an MA in Opera Singing in 1999, and now studies at the Michael Chekhov Foundation, Sofia. Her vocal instructors include Sima Ivanova, Charlotte Lehmann, Pavel Gerdjikov, Hristina Angelakova and Kliment Kirov.

She is a contract principal artist at the Sofia National Opera, and has won numerous awards and prizes including the silver medal in the Boris Christoff competition in 2004, and has taken part in many masterclasses.

Her roles include Donna Anna Don Giovanni for Rousse State Opera; Mimì La bohème, Marguerite Faust, Liù Turandot, Michaela Carmen, Leonora Il trovatore for Sofia National Opera; Liù for Aspendos Summer Opera Festival and Miskoltz Opera Festival, Hungary; Cio-Cio-San Madama Butterfly in Rouen; Michaela in Siktivkar, Russia; Mimì at the Toscana Opera Festival; Donna Elvira Don Giovanni on tour in France, Desdemona Otello and Cio-Cio-San at Sofia National Opera.

She is bilingual in Bulgarian and Russian, and speaks fluent German, as well as English and Italian. In her spare time, she enjoys reading.

The voice is very beautiful May be she looses some harmonics oprning too uch the mouth with some vowells. Congratulations l hope she will come to sing Boheme in the Lyceo. Hope to see you sonn.
