Frockwatch
Irina Lungu from Moldova in the Song Prize (Photo: Brian Tarr) Stage-Door Jeannie returned for more Frockwatching at the 2005 Competition.

It's not just how you sound that wins competitions - it's the whole package. And an important part of that package is how you look.

Singers at the start of their careers can't spend a huge amount on clothes, but it's not necessarily what you wear, it's the way that you wear it.

Our reporter Maggi Willis (aka Stage-Door Jeannie) brought you the highs and lows of Competition chic. She looked at presentation and deportment as well as the actual fashions, and no-one escaped her beady eye.

Don't miss her diary about what went on behind the scenes - Frock Blog.
